London School of Economics and Political Science - Department of Accounting
Fixed term until 31st August 2014
Salary: Band 5 £26,580 pa incl. to £30,767 pa incl.
Band 6 £32,148 pa incl. to £38,887 pa incl.
The Department of Accounting enjoys a pre-eminent reputation for the excellence of its teaching and research and for its leading role in public-policy issues. It ranks alongside the most highly-rated departments in accounting and financial management worldwide. The department was ranked top in the UK for our BSc Accounting and Finance programme by the online Complete University Guide for 2013.
We would like to invite applications for LSE Fellowships in Accounting. Those with specialisms in any area of accounting are encouraged to apply. We also particularly encourage applications from those with a strong social science training outside accounting, but wishing to develop a career within this field. Candidates should have completed their PhD, or be close to doing so by the time they take up the post. Previous teaching experience is also desirable.
Successful candidates will normally take up appointment commencing 1 September 2012 and will be based at the main campus in London.
