Junior Professorship Frankfurt: Sociology of Finance

The Faculty of Social Sciences at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, Institute for the Analysis of Society and Policy invites applications to fill the following position starting as soon as possible:

Junior Professorship (W1) in Sociology with Main Focus on the Sociology of Financial Markets, Money and Banking

The position is to be filled as soon as possible. Required qualifications include a strong record of international publications and research in the sociology of financal markets, money and banking.

The candidate exhibits an excellent international research profile. Experiences in attracting outside research funding and the willingness to cooperate in ongoing or planned research projects are welcome. He/She will also be expected to engage in all teaching programs of the faculty. Since this junior professorship will also be involved in teacher-training experience in teaching in schools and novel ideas regarding this topic would be welcome.
